My name is Pam Dunlop and my partner Tim and I purchased our first Tibetan Spaniel, Kramer, in 1994. Kramer is only the second Tibbie in Victoria to become Australian Grand Champion. Sadly, after a fairly long and wonderfully happy life, Kramer passed away in June 2005. Kramer was well known to the Tibbie community and the Toy Group people in Victoria. He once appeared on "A Current Affair".
Lexie moved in with us in January 1996. She had her first and only litter of five puppies in January 1998 (to Kramer), of which we kept Barney. Gypsy arrived in June 2001 and Fergus arrived from Scotland in November 2002. Fergus has a fabulous pedigree. He gained his Australian title at 13 months.
Lexie, Barney and Fergus are Australian Champions and, as of July 2005, Gypsy became our second Australian Grand Champion. Gypsy is our youngest to win Best of Breed at a Royal Show (at just 12 months) and then our first to win Best Exhibit in Show at the only Tibbie Specialty Show in Australia (3 July 2005 - 72 entries from Australia wide). Gypsy had her first litter in November 2003 (to Fergus) and we kept a girl Molly. Molly had a wonderful start to her show career winning Best Baby Puppy in Show on debut at 3 months of age at Yarra Glen All Breeds Championship Show in Melbourne.
As of April 2006 I am President of the Tibetan Spaniel Association of Victoria Inc and a member of the Tibetan Spaniel Club of the United Kingdom.
